New research on changes in employment in public, for-profit and nonprofit sectors in Scandinavia

TSI at NPO Day on Impact in Austria

A statistical revolution in data on the third sector in Europe

TSI and the EC Directorate General Research & Innovation held a conference with representatives of national statistical agencies and EU policy makers on improving data collection on volunteering, nonprofit activity and the social economy, exposing the third sector as one of the largest “industries” in Europe.

Report on profiles of nonprofit organisations in Italy

Based on the 2011 Census of Nonprofit Institutions Istat Italy published information concerning the human resources employed (paid workers and volunteers), services offered, communication tools, and financial resources (revenues and expenditures, funding sources, fundraising techniques).
