Apart from results relevant to third sector development, policy formulation and data collection on the third sector in Europe TSI’s work is also relevant to master and PhD students studying the field of non profit sector, third sector and social economy. One of our partners, the Research Institute on Social Economy and Entrepreneurship (IUDESCOOP) at the University of Valencia has incorporated TSI’s objectives, methodology and conceptual framework in their Master on Social Economy and specifically in their Doctorate PhD programme. The latter has 11 Phd candidates focussing on cooperatives and nonprofit organizations.
