Red Europea de Lucha contra la Pobreza y la Exclusión Social (European Network for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion in the Spanish State) was born in 1991 and recast in 2004 as a network of NGOs involved in the social inclusion of people experiencing poverty and social exclusion. It is currently composed of 19 regional networks within which they can be as diverse organizations such as foundations, federations, local associations, trade unions and regional and local NGOs, and 16 institutions at state level, all non-profit and with a common component: the fight against poverty and social exclusion.

One if their objectives is to implant the method of networking to work together and join forces to achieve bigger and better results in the fight to eradicate poverty and social exclusion in Spain.
