Jozette Aldenhoven, project manager for safety and advise for elderly people at the Unie KBO. Unie KBO advocates for senior citizens  participation on equal terms with other people in society. My projects about safety and advise help senior citizens to live longer and safe at home. Unie KBO is an organization of people aged 50 years and older. The organization has about 190.000 members. These members are affiliated with one of 500 local branches. The local branches of each province together comprise the provincial KBO. The Provincial KBO’s combined form the Unie KBO.

I studied economics and communication in Rotterdam and cultural anthropology in Amsterdam. I graduated on the subject of ageing among elderly religious communities and have been working at Unie KBO since 2007.
