Heleen de Boer graduated in Cultural Anthropology at the University of Utrecht. She developed a professional experience over almost 10 years in policy, research (practical) and impact measurement. She worked in different organizations in the social field (e.g. the municipality of Amsterdam, social business for refugees, consultancy firm for impact measurement). In 2014 she was accredited as SROI practitioner (Social Return on Investment) by the International SROI Network (UK).

At this moment Heleen works at Humanitas as project manager Monitoring & Evaluation, where she’s developing a system for monitoring and evaluating the outcomes of volunteering work. Humanitas is one of the largests volunteering organizations in The Netherlands.
