Günther Lutschinger is CEO of the Austrian Fundraising Association (Fundraising Verband Austria). In this capacity he is primarily focusing on strengthening Austria’s philanthropy and third sector, and shares his expertise with national and international stakeholders. One of his core objectives among others is to build a better framework for foundations and non-profit organisations in Austria in order to create a sustainable and vibrant “culture of giving”.

From 1997 until 2005 Günther was CEO of WWF Austria and played a crucial role in the establishment of WWF offices in CEE-countries. Since 2013 he is president of the European Fundraising Association, which aims to further develop the fundraising profession across Europe. In 2015 he was elected board member to the Austrian Association of Charitable Foundations based in Vienna.
