Carlos Susias is President of the European Anti Poverty Network Spain – EAPN-ES (Red Europea de Lucha contra la Pobreza y la Exclusión Social en el Estado Español), the largest Spanish network of regional and local networks, involving anti-poverty NGOs and grassroots groups as well as National Organizations, committed to the social inclusion of people experiencing poverty and social exclusion. EAPN-ES is a founding member of the Spanish Third Sector Platform (Plataforma Tercer Sector).
Since 2001 Carlos is the Spanish delegate to the Executive Committee of the European Anti-Poverty Network. In 2015 he has been elected Vice-President of the Bureau of the EAPN, the collective body that ensures implementation of Executive Committee decisions.
Carlos holds a degree in Political Sciences and a Master Degree in Sociology. Trainer of trainers, he is specialized in social economy and in the planning, monitoring and evaluation of social inclusion policies.
He has over 20 years of experience in institutional and partnership building projects with non-governmental organizations, as well as with social consulting of NGO’s including: strategic planning, defining internal regulations, human resources management, networking, reinforcing relations with different stakeholders and fund raising.
