Aldo Xhani is coordinator of European funded projects at ALDA – the European Association for Local Democracy, since 2013. He has an academic background in political science and 5 years working experience in the international field. In European project management his expertise relies on socio-economic topics related to programmes such as Horizon2020, Progress, Erasmus+ and Europe for Citizens. Since 2013 he implemented more than 20 European projects.

Aldo Xhani brings in expertise on issues such as local democracy, citizen participation, European integration and youth with particular focus on the role of local authorities and civil society associations.
